Overview

The 2023 LCK season was the 12th season of League of Legends Champions Korea and featured the traditional Spring and Summer split format. Across the year, T1, Gen.G, and KT Rolster emerged as the region’s strongest teams, while the rivalry between T1 and Gen.G once again defined the domestic title races.

The season concluded with Gen.G winning the Summer Split, securing Korea’s first seed for the 2023 World Championship, while T1, KT Rolster, and Dplus KIA completed the LCK’s Worlds representatives.

Spring & Summer Splits

Regular Season: Double round-robin format.
Series Format: All matches played as Best-of-Three (Bo3).
Playoff Advancement: Top 6 teams from the standings advance.
Playoff Format:Double-elimination bracket starting from Round 2.
Playoff Matches: All series played as Best-of-Five (Bo5).

World Championship Qualification

Seed #1: Summer Split Champion.
Seed #2: Team with the most Championship Points (excluding Seed #1).
Seeds #3 & #4: Determined via the Regional Finals bracket.
