Azubu Frost: Summer Champions

Season Highlights

  • The Birth of the Blind Pick: 2012 established the OGN tradition where Game 5 was Blind Pick, leading to some of the most aggressive and mirror-match gameplay in history.
  • The Silver Scrapes: The Summer Final between CLG.EU and Azubu Frost is considered a "top 5 all-time series," where Frost overcame a 0-2 deficit to win 3-2.
  • MadLife's Ascendance: This season turned MadLife into a global superstar, with his Thresh and Blitzcrank plays earning him the nickname "God."
  • Sibling Rivalry: The Spring Final between sibling teams Frost and Blaze saw the "younger" brother Blaze sweep the veteran Frost, a narrative that would define OGN for years.
