Introduction
The 2014 season of Champions was the third season of Korea’s top-tier professional League of Legends league. This era was famous for the "Sister Team" structure, where major organizations fielded two separate world-class rosters.
It was the final year of the tournament-style circuit (Winter, Spring, Summer) before the 2015 transition to a unified LCK league.

KT Arrows: Summer Champions Season Highlights & Legacy
- The Samsung Sister Teams: Samsung Blue and Samsung White (formerly Ozone) defined 2014, with Blue dominating domestically and White winning Worlds.
- SKT T1 K's Decline: After a perfect Winter, the reigning World Champions SKT K struggled as the Samsung rosters evolved.
- KaKAO's Miracle Run: KT Arrows' Summer victory is widely considered one of the greatest "Cinderella runs" in Korean history.
- Final Sister Split: This season marked the end of the sister team era before the "one organization, one team" rule was enforced in 2015.
