TCL 2019: The Star-Studded Season

The Turkish Championship League (TCL) 2019 Season was heavily defined by major imported talent (such as legendary T1 support Wolf) and the rise of exceptional domestic players. It featured 10 franchise teams competing for tickets to MSI and Worlds.

2019 Format Rules

  • League Size: 10 Teams. HWA Gaming rebranded to DenizBank İstanbul Wildcats before the Summer Split.
  • Regular Season: Double Round Robin format for both Winter and Summer splits. All matches are Best-of-One (Bo1).
  • Playoffs: The Top 6 teams advance to a single-elimination bracket. The 1st and 2nd seeds receive a direct bye to the Semifinals. All playoff matches are Best-of-Five (Bo5).
  • International Qualification: The Winter Champion qualified for MSI 2019 in Vietnam/Taiwan. The Summer Champion qualified for the 2019 World Championship Play-In Stage in Europe.
