LCL 2025

The 2022 League of Legends Continental League (LCL) Spring Season began on February 12, 2022, but was indefinitely suspended after Week 2 due to the escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War. On March 25, 2022, Riot Games officially cancelled the remainder of the Spring Split. Consequently, the LCL did not send a representative to the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2022.

No LCL season was held in 2025. The league remained on hiatus and did not participate in any international events (MSI or Worlds). This marked the effective end of the CIS region as an independent competitive entity in the global League of Legends ecosystem.
