Patch 26.20 Preview Notes
Champions Summary
Items Summary
Patch Overview
Worlds 2026
- Patch 26.20 is the final Worlds 2026 patch, releasing October 7, 2026; these preliminary values come from Riot's preview and may change before release.
Champions
- Targeted champion changes keep the playoffs meta intact while tuning pro-play outliers and selected SoloQ builds.
Items
- Hextech Rocketbelt trades pro-play flexibility for active damage, while ranged Hexplate and Runaan's Hurricane are pulled back.
Pulled from the Preview
- Riot's first preview on September 29 listed three more champions; the September 30 Full Preview removed all of them.
- Sylas: the planned mid-lane buff and reshape was pulled because Riot did not want to disturb his role balance alongside the Rocketbelt change.
- Varus: the planned nerf was pulled because he needs larger work to make his builds satisfying.
- Fiddlesticks: the planned buff was removed from the Full Preview without an explanation.
