VCS 2021 Season Overview
COVID-19 Impact
The 2021 Summer Split was cancelled because of the COVID-19 situation in Vietnam. The later **Winter Split** was a separate tournament created to fill the vacant competitive slot, not a delayed or rebranded Summer Split. Travel restrictions also prevented VCS teams from attending **MSI 2021** and **Worlds 2021** in Iceland.
