Asian Games 2022 — Overview and Format
League of Legends at the 2022 Asian Games
Fifteen national teams competed at the China Hangzhou Esports Centre in Hangzhou,
China, from 25–29 September 2023.
South Korea defeated
Chinese Taipei 2–0 in the final. The event retains the 2022 Asian Games name after postponement.

- Eleven teams played four single-round-robin groups of best-of-one games; each group winner advanced.
China,
India,
Malaysia and
Saudi Arabia entered the knockout stage directly without playing the group stage.
- Eight teams played a single-elimination knockout bracket. Every knockout series was best-of-three.
