Patch 26.17 gives melee carries more scaling and trims top and jungle outliers
Riot strengthened the late-game critical strikes of Yasuo and Yone, raised Irelia and Qiyana damage, and nerfed several top-lane, jungle, support, and artillery outliers.
Why it matters
The patch makes several melee carries less dependent on an early snowball while reducing Vayne and Nasus lane strength, Graves and Nocturne jungle power, and Xerath poke. Match data is still needed to establish how far those priorities move.
What the sources establish
- Yasuo and Yone have their critical-strike damage penalty reduced from 10% to 5%, while Irelia gains Q attack-damage scaling and higher AP ratios.
- Vayne loses early Silver Bolts damage and pays more mana for early Tumbles; Nasus loses life steal at each passive breakpoint.
- Stormrazor gains 5 percentage points of attack speed, while Sundered Sky loses 50 health and 5 attack damage.
